  • We offer a broad range of camping, hiking and bikepacking equipment that can be hired on an individual item basis or as part of a package. We are also able to put together custom packages should you desire.

    We hire tents, sleeping bags & mats, cooking equipment and a range of essentials to support you on your next adventure.

  • The best way to hire is through our online booking system.

  • If we do not require the hired camping equipment for another customer then this may be possible, however it must be agreed with Brisbane Camping Hire.

  • Yes, we ask that you return the camping equipment clean. If items are found not to be clean then a $70 cleaning fee is applicable. This is to be deducted from your deposit.

  • We have a limited supply of equipment and would appreciate that you return your rented items on time to ensure others who have made bookings do not recieve cancellations. If rented equipment is returned late you will be liable to pay for each extra day that you fail to return any of the Items in your order to Brisbane Camping Hire.

  • A deposit of 30% of the total order amount is required to be paid upon confirmation of your booking. A minimum $70 deposit is required if the 30% does not meet $70. This is to be returned within 14 days of your booking completion. NOTE: The power pack requires a $220 deposit due to its higher value.

  • You can modify your reservation by contacting Brisbane Camping Hire. We understand that plans can change and aim to be fair and transparent.

    If a booking is cancelled more than 7 days prior to the scheduled start date, a full refund will be provided.

    For cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the booking start date, 30% of the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee, with the remaining deposit refunded. If a cancellation is made between 48 hours and 24 hours prior to the booking start date, 50% of the deposit will be retained. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking start date are non-refundable, and the full deposit will be retained.

    In all cases, any rental hire fees paid will be fully refunded. Cancellation fees apply to the deposit only and do not affect the rental amount.

  • If equipment is damaged through misuse then you are liable to pay for the damage caused. You should check your Items as soon as they are received by you and agree to contact Brisbane Camping Hire within twenty-four (24) hours if they are not what you ordered, are damaged or faulty and if items are missing.

  • Unfortunately we do not offer insurance on any of our rented camping equipment.

  • Yes we are able to rent out camping equipment for whatever occasion you desire. Our custom packages are a great way to secure the camping equipment you require at a discounted price.

  • We are happy for you to hire additional items during your rental period. The items will likely need to be collected unless you are local to Brisbane. If heading out into the bush we suggest you ensure you carry out checks to ensure you have everything you need before departing.

  • We ensure all our camping equipment is cleaned and maintained ready for your hire period. We cannot provide a guarantee that equipment won’t break during the hire period.

  • Yes, we love when families hire our equipment and spend a night camping together. We have a number of packages available that are tailored to families.

  • Yes, we have a number of packages available suited to hiking. Naturally it is important that you take the necessary precautions when heading out into remote areas. Brisbane Camping HIre does not hold liability for any activities undertaken whilst hiring camping and hiking equipment and gear.

  • The minimum age of hire is 18 years old.

  • Yes we provide instructions on how to set up the hire tents, operate the inflatable mattresses and correctly clean certain equipment. These will be provided at the time of collection and any questions can be asked to our team. We aim to select tents that are easy to set up to make things easy for our customers.
